The Golden Lion Cafe 2017 Award Party

To finish the 2017 award season, we headed over to Flagler Beach to celebrate The Golden Lion Cafe! They were voted the number 1 beach bar on the east coast and the number 2 beach bar in all of Florida! This was their seventh win in the Top 10 Florida Beach Bar contest sponsored by LandShark Lager! They have been in the Top 10 each year since the Best Florida Beach Bar contest began in 2011.

Tables had festive decor on them, balloons were scattered throughout the bar, and Ain't Too Proud To Beg was there to provide the music and they played well into the night. They played a lot of familiar tunes and even gave us a taste of some of their originals! Check out their Facebook page for upcoming events!
LandShark Lager was there handing out so many giveaways like beads, bottle openers, t-shirts, sunglasses, can koozies, and even buckets of beer. There was a raffle at the end of the night and one person walked away with a LandShark cooler!
There were many locals that attended to show their love and support for the Golden Lion. We met one person who was there on the very first day that they opened, 25 years ago. This beach bar is so special to so many people and we were thrilled to be back.
