Overview
The Yucatan Beach Stand Bar and Grill is an open air beach bar. Not located on the beach, they are within walking distance of the beach. The building was a Pizza Hut previously but with some great thatched roof work, this place has been transformed into a beautiful Florida beach bar. Yucatan is decorated with huge fish, surfboard tables and private booths.
Yucatan has live entertainment daily, and some days it starts as early as 1:00 pm at this Florida beach bar. Check their web site schedule for names and times of musicians. In season for sure you will find live music from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Paul was our waiter on our last visit. He is terrific. Honest, humorous and personable. Plus, he has all the other great attributes of a great waiter....prompt and knowledgeable.
The Yucatan Beach Stand advertises they have the coldest beer on the beach. 28 degrees is pretty cold. We think this Florida beach bar is fun, and we love the decor.
Come for the music and stay for the fun. And the cold, cold beer, of course. This Florida beach bar is also a favorite of Parrotheads.
