Overview
Sometimes you find a tiki bar where you least expect it. Driving through Tarpon Springs in our constant search for beach bars, we were surprised to find a tiki bar on the water. Capt'n Jack's is located across the waterway from the sponge docks. That in itself is charming and interesting.
As you enter the bar, you will be greeted by a huge shark. No, it's not alive, but it is big. Capt'n Jack's features a huge tiki bar with friendly waiters, great nachos and cold drinks. The atmosphere at Capt'n Jack's is laid back and reminds you of the simpler times of Old Florida. Most of the great Florida beach bars are either true Old Florida or built to remind you of those times.
The decor is charming tiki bar, and you can enjoy happy hour Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Check Captain Jack's web site for times and bands that are playing. But you can catch live music on Friday and Saturday nights between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Other nights you might catch Karaoke. Sundays you might catch an afternoon band, as well.
You can even access Capt'n Jack's by boat.
There are 20 HD TV's that should to entertain you no matter your sports viewing choice on the lower level and 34 more on the upper deck.
