 Shephard’s Beach Resort Backyard Tiki Bar is part of Shephard's Resort in Clearwater Beach and was picked as the Best Beachside Florida Beach Bar for 2011 and 2012 and a Top 10 Florida Beach Bar in 2013. It is one of the best Florida beach bars around.
Shephard’s has everything you need for a great beachside bar. There is almost always live music playing at this Florida beach bar, and it is always good. Shephard’s contracts some of the best local bands. The food is good, too, at Shephard's and the drinks are plentiful.
The Tiki Bar features a large stage and dance floor that jets out over the water. Valet park your car with the hotel staff or raft off of an anchored boat. The wait staff is fun and fantastic. Pick a table with an umbrella, if possible, and sit back and watch it happen. Or join in.
People are partying in the boats at the docks, and they are only half nuts. The real crazies are on the dance floor doing dances beyond your imagination. They are also dressed in outfits that defy your imagination. We really wish we could describe some of what we have seen going on at this Florida beach bar, but we guess the fact that we can't, is why Shephard's is rated 5 Flamingos. Shephard's in Clearwater Beach has to be visited because words can't do it justice.
Shephard's Tiki Bar is filled with activity and choices. There are several bar areas where you can belly up to the bar and chat with other barflies. We like to choose a table by the band stand and dance floor and watch the crowd and enjoy the music. We always make friends with our neighbors, mostly because they want to share the shade of our umbrella. Plus, we are really fun.
The beach area is the choice of many who like to bathe in the sun. The bar provides easy access to cool refreshments. There are boaters and jet skiers who pull up to join in the fun at this Florida beach bar.
Shephard's is a beach bar you can feel comfortable going to and you will enjoy it very much. Whether you like to join in the fun or just watch it and marvel at the antics, Shephard's is a great place to go. We have never had a bad time at Shephard's Florida beach bar!!
