Overview
Woody's Waterfront Cafe and Beach Bar sits right at the water's edge of Blind Pass in St. Pete Beach. This Florida beach bar cannot be any closer to the water. In fact, their slogan is "We're so close to the water, your burger will get wet"! We are sure this is true because when we got there we walked so close to the water's edge, we got splashed.
Woody's is a fun and popular beach bar. The waterfront views are gorgeous. You can watch water life from your spot at Woody's. You can catch the parasailers, boaters and jet skiers. And this Florida beach bar is one of the best places around to catch a sunset.
The patio area is quite large. There is inside seating as well, and the bar has seating both inside and outside. We like to sit at the bar and chat with other guests and find out where they are from and what great bars they have found. Happy hour at Woody's is 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday at the bar.
We ordered wings which were very good and a bit different. The Big Woody Hot Dog is 1/2 pound, and it is very big. This hot dog makes a substantial rather than light meal.
It's really easy to sit at Woody's Waterfront Cafe and relax with a Golden Rita and watch the waves and water action. Florida Beach Bar enjoyed Woody's, and we'll be back again soon.
