Waldo's is the restaurant on the property of The Driftwood Resort. It is located by the pool at the resort and the pool is oceanside. Every day they have happy hour from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Waldo's has live music almost every day of the week. Saturday and Sunday the music starts at 1:00 p.m. Other nights it is likely to start at 7:00 p.m.
If you are there are on Tuesday, you can enjoy 2 for 1 draft, house wine and well drinks from 7:00 p.m. to close. Then there is Thirsty Thursday when Voodoo Buckets are discounted all day. The bands play by the pool weather permitting. Otherwise,, they make room inside the restaurant for the band.
The Driftwood Resort is historically registered including the pool bathrooms. Originally The Driftwood Inn was a private beach house which was called the "Breezeway". The home was constructed in 1935 and finished in 1937. Over the years, the house was expanded. The Driftwood is worth a visit to see this amazing and historic structure.
