The Wharf is a local favorite, and it is a well kept secret. But one look at it tells you it is an "old salt" kind of place, and the atmosphere screams good food, good liquor and good old fashioned beach bar fun. It is located on the intracoastal and accessible by boat.
The Wharf will remind you of a real old fishing village kind of place from New England. Being from New England, it attracted me right away.
The bar features music on Saturday nights. They also feature Bucs games in the bar during football season. Where else but Florida can you watch a football game in a great bar with 13 flat screen TVs and sit on the waterfront with a cold beer?
The Wharf attracts a fun loving and local crowd of people. A great place to sit is along the water's edge. You can watch the boats travel the Intracoastal or pull up in your own boat for a relaxing time and cool drink.
