Overview

The Old Key Lime House is the oldest restaurant in Florida, and the second oldest house in Lantana, Florida. You will find historical memorabilia in the house, but if you keep walking through the house you will find the tiki bar sitting on the beautiful intracoastal Waterway. This is the place to be.

This Florida beach bar is relaxing and charming. It offers lovely views of the intracoastal. The food at the restaurant is award winning, but you have to try the Key Lime Pie. It was featured in Bon Appetit magazine in 2006. It is the best Key Lime Pie ever.

All drinks are half-priced Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Did someone say 1/2 priced drinks?

This Florida beach bar is a Gators fan bar. Fans gather around the bar and cheer on the Gators during football season. Wednesdays through Sundays there is live music in the tiki hut. Sometimes the live music happens twice in one day. We really liked this Florida beach bar.

The Chowder is awesome (add hot sauce) and the coconut grouper fingers are to die for. Get the Orange Crush drink, fresh OJ (you cannot have just one). Drive around and park in the back beyond the valet area. Since this bar is located right on the Inter-coastal, you may want to stash a light jacket or long sleeve shirt in your vehicle, in case the wind whips up. As you can tell, this is one of my all time favorite Beach Bars (and I have currently been to a good portion of the Beach Bars listed on the website). Music is good, with local talent that rotate around the bars in the area.
