The Funky Pelican at the Flagler Beach Pier has a great location. This Florida beach bar sits over the beach and next to the Flagler Beach Pier. The views are phenomenal, and it is a pleasant place to relax and enjoy food and drink.
This Florida beach bars offers the ultimate in oceanside dining. You can sit inside or on the deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There are some terrific seats that line up along the edge of the bar and provide unobstructed views of the pier and ocean. We think we could sit there all day with our beverages and an appetizer or two.
Funky Pelican opens up at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast. They also serve lunch and dinner. Their menu is varied and the prices are unique ending in odd digits. The effect is still the same. You still gotta pay.
Funky Hour is every day from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Best we can tell, there is no live music at this Florida beach bar. A good portion of our rating goes to live music. Without live music, we could consider this more of a restaurant than a beach bar but the location is lovely.
