Overview

We heard from many people that we had to go to Alabama Jack's in Key Largo and it did not disappoint. To get there we took Card Sound Road heading out of Key Largo. There isn't much on the road except one toll bridge. Make sure you bring cash as it does not accept the normal Sunpass.  Once you pay the toll of $1, Alabama Jack's is on your left.

Alabama Jack's is a different little Florida beach bar that has been around for over 50 years attracting the locals, bikers, retirees, families, and just about anyone looking for a good time. On weekends the entertainment starts at 2:00 p.m. It is lively and fun. The same band has been playing at this Florida beach bar for over 28 years. They are The Card Sound Machine. Come to watch the crowd and enjoy the music. You might even catch sight of an alligator.. That would freak us out, but some people might enjoy it.

This Florida beach bar has been voted to have the best conch fritters around. The menu consists of items such as burgers, steamed shrimp, and fish sandwiches. Of course, there is plenty of cold beer to go around too.

This Florida beach bar sits on two barges among the mangroves. It is a bit more of a "swamp bar" than a beach bar, but we like to include all fun places located on water. We have been to this Florida beach bar on sunny and beautiful days and rainy days. Every time it has been very crowded and there were lots of motorcycles. We always say the more motorcycles there are, the better the beach bar. This bar attracts everyone and anyone looking for a good time.

This amazing little Florida beach bar is so popular that no matter what day or time we go there, it is crowded. There is often large boats tied up in the back. Alabama Jack's is a popular place to eat, drink and remember times gone by of Old Florida.

This Florida beach bar is a bit of a shack on the side of a road, but it is a waterfront bar and does have live music. There is no doubt you will make some great memories here and leave with stories to tell about this Florida Keys beach bar. Due to a "skeeter" problem, this Florida beach bar isn't open late into the night. But you will always leave satisfied.

Don’t under estimate this place. The food is the best around, the place has character, and the help are super nice. Every time we are down in the Keys, we stop here for beers and food. Put this place on your bucket list, it is worth the drive.

We overheard a conversation at the Caribbean Club in Key Largo about this great bar & grill on the way north to the mainland. We found it quite by accident (I’m sure we aren’t the first ones). The best all around place (staff, customers and food). The Conch Fritters have no equal.
