Marina Jack's Portside Patio is located in the downtown Sarasota area and on the water. There are yachts all around to look at and maybe dream about. The breezes from the Gulf of Mexico cool the patio bar off and, if that doesn't work, a nice frozen drink may do the trick.
There is music 7 nights a week and on weekend days the music starts at 2:30 pm. The bands that play are some of the best in Sarasota. Come later in the evening and join in with the crowd Salsa dancing or any kind of dancing. Just dance! One of our favorites is Dan Crawford. Dan sings all your favorite beach songs as well as some oldies but always goodies. Or on Friday nights catch one of Sarasota's favorite bands, Omni.
Weekdays the Portside Patio has happy hour from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We have never been to this Florida beach bar when they haven't had live music playing. People eat, drink and dance at the Portside Patio. You will have a hard time not joining in and making new friends.
